In a surprising collaboration that breaks conventional forecasts, the game developer has unveiled an virtual crossover between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the acclaimed anime series Attack on Titan. The unexpected Thanksgiving event continues from November 25 through December 22, providing complimentary extra story content for Shadows players.

Mysterious Mission Uncovered

According to the authorized announcement, "An unusual meeting pulls heroes Naoe and Yasuke into a original mission, where rumors of banned rituals and terrifying metamorphoses resonate through the shadows." The storyline features a "oddly dressed woman named Ada" who assigns the characters with venturing into the Gemstone Grotto—a key location from Attack on Titan—to save her ally from a hidden group.

The adventure centers on "peculiar experiments and a fearsome foe" and is available to all players who have acquired the Yasuke character.

Recognizable Settings and Transformations

The preview features the Subterranean Sanctuary from Attack on Titan redesigned as the Crystal Cave. This significant location was formerly where the Reiss royal family passed down the Founding Titan ability through generations. The teaser ends with a striking moment showing a character, likely the hostage, transforming into a Titan that rises over Naoe and Yasuke.

Special Prizes and Bonus Content

Players who finish the adventure will acquire an unique katana alongside numerous artifacts secreted throughout the area in concealed chests. The update also contains in-store Attack on Titan item packs, offering:
